Invite a celebrity!

If you could invite any celebrity to attend the launch of your coffee shop who would it be?

Think about the customers you want to attract to your coffee shop. Which celebrities would interest them? A local celebrity could attract good publicity and would cost you less to hire.

Work with the Project Manager to write a persuasive letter to the celebrity of your choice. Include:

• Information about your coffee shop. Why should they support you?
• When do you want them to attend, how long should they stay and what do you want them to do? Remember you won’t have to pay so much for a short visit.
• How much can you afford to pay them? If you haven’t allowed any money in your budget for a celebrity, you will have to try to think of ways to persuade them to turn up for free!
